1 c. margarine
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. hot water
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. walnut pieces (optional)
1 c. coconut (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Mix flour and salt together and add to creamed mixture. Dissolve soda in hot water and add. Stir in oatmeal, chocolate chips, nuts and coconut. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
