Asian Chicken Salad Recipe

1 stick butter
1 pkg cole slaw
4 scallions cut up
½ cup slivered almonds
2 pkgs ramon noodles
3 tablespoons sugar

Dressing:

¾ cup sugar
¼ cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 cup salad oil

Directions:
Directions:
On low heat melt butter and sugar until carmelized. Add crunched up ramon noodles and slivered almonds. Sautè until beginning to brown (tan). Cool on rack (paper towels?)

Dressing:

Blend in blender:
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce

Slowly add 1 cup salad oil.

(This makes enough dressing for a few salads.)

Mix cabbage, onions and (just enough) dressing 20 minutes before serving. Just before serving add ramon noodle mix and stir well.

Add cooked chicken for a main course.
