2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup butter flavored crisco
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 egg yolk (save white part for later)
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dough, split into 2 equal size balls.

Spread one ball onto a greased cookie sheet.
Add 1 cup crushed cereal (any kind) on top, spread evenly.
Layer sliced apples about 1/2 inch worth.

Combine 1 - 1.5 cups sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on apple slices.

Roll out 2nd dough ball and place over apple slices, cut vent holes.

Whip white part of egg and use a pastry brush to apply to top crust.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.

Frosting is simply 1 - 2 cups of powdered sugar mixed with milk

An apple corer/slicer makes this a quick project.
