1 c chocolate chips
1 c brown sugar
3/4 c margarine
dash of salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
2 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Dissolve soda in 4 tbsp warm water. Mix ingredients well. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
