Ingredients:
1 teaspoon of oil
1 cup of flour
water
salt and pepper to taste
cooked chicken and broth

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken. Cut up chicken in small pieces and strain the broth.
Mix flour, oil and water (you may have to add more flour as you do this so you can roll them out), salt and pepper to taste. (As you mix the dumplings bring the chicken broth to a boil)
Once you get a dough that can be rolled out, Roll out and cut in strips. Take each strip and pull off a section about the size of your thumb or however big you want your dumplings. Drop them in the hot broth. Stir dumplings periodically. Add the cooked - diced chicken to the broth. Cook about 15 - 20 minutes or until they are done. It took me a few tries before I got the recipe right. You may have to play around with the amounts of water and flour. I also usually make a double batch.
Umm Umm Good - Enjoy :)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Grandma did not measure out anything when she made her dumplings. You will have to judge by the consistency of the dough so you can roll it out easy.
