1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 cup sour milk
4 cups flour (or more)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs together, Mix together the dry ingredients and add to cream mixture.
Roll out on floured board and cut to desired shape.
Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes

Frost when cool with the following:
2 lb. bag confectioners sugar
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Beat all above with electric mixer for 5 minutes
