1 pkg Rice-A-Roni Rice Pilaf
1 1/3 c apple juice or apple cider
1 lb boneless pork loin, pork tenderloin or skinless,
boneless chicken breast
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme leaves
1/2 tsp ground sage or poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp salt (optional)
2 tbsp margarine
2 medium apples, cored, sliced
1 tsp cornstarch
1/3 c coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare Rice-A-Roni mix as package directs, substituting 1 c water and 1 c apple juice for water in directions.
While rice is simmering, cut pork into 1 1/2x 1/4 strips. Combine seasonings and toss with meat.
In large skillet, melt margarine over medium heat. Stir-fry meat 3 to 4 minutes or just until pork is no longer pink.
Add apples, stir-fry 2-3 minutes or until apples are almost tender. Add combined remaining 1/3 c apple juice and cornstarch. Stir-fry 1/2 minutes or until thickened to form glaze.
Stir in nuts. Serve rice topped with pork mixture.
