1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. drained, chopped maraschino cherries
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter until light. Gradually beat in sugar. Blend in vanilla, salt, baking soda and flour, mixing well. Stir in chocolate morsels, nuts and chopped cherries. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around edges. Store in tightly covered tin.
