1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract
t tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and gradually add sugar. Mix well. Add egg, salt, almond extract, and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in flour. Form into 1/2 inch balls and press flat. (Bottom of a glass, etc. to press with) Bake at 400º for 6 - 8 minutes to a delicate brown.
