8 slices bread
1 large evaporated milk
4 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put bread in baking dish sprayed with pam. Mix all other ingredients except egg whites and pour over bread. Let soak a few minutes. Bake 15 minutes in 450 degree oven.

Meringue:
4 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar

Mix whites until beginning to thicken. Add sugar a little at a time until stiff peaks form. Spread over pudding and bake 15 minutes @ 350 degrees.
