4 cups chopped onion
4 cups chopped cabbage
4 cups chopped green tomatoes
6 or 8 green peppers - 5 cup each
6 or 8 red peppers - 5 cup each
1/2 cup course salt

Canning liquid:
6 cups sugar
2 cups water
2 tablespoons mustard seed
4 cups apple cider (or vinegar)
1 tbsp celery seed
1 1/2 tsp tumeric

Directions:
Directions:
Chop and mix together onion cabbage, green tomatoes, green and red peppers. Add 1/2 cup course salt and let stand overnight. Then drain well.

Pour canning liquid over vegetable mixture and simmer 3 to 5 minutes. Can seal in hot jars.
