4 eggs (separated)
3/4 c. sugar (divided)
Beat egg whites to form soft peaks & add 1/4 c. sugar. Beat egg yolks & 1/2 c. sugar about 5 minutes.

Combine and add to yolk mixture:
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. baking cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Fold in egg whites

Pour cake into 10x15 inch pan lined with greased parchment paper. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes. Dust kitchen towel with powdered sugar. Invert cake onto the towel. Roll up from the small end. Allow to cool. Unroll from towel. Spread 2 c. softened vanilla ice cream in the cake. Re-roll, wrap in plastic, and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Serve with hot fudge and whipped topping.
