4 tenderloin steaks, grilled to medium rare
4 slices of bread or English muffin halves, toasted
4 thick slices of Cheddar cheese
1 jalapeņo pepper, seeded, sliced or chopped
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Season the tenderloin steaks and then grill to medium rare or desired degree of doneness. Toast bread slices or muffin halves and then place on an oven-safe plate. Top bread with cheese and jalapeņos; warm in the oven until the cheese melts. Remove from oven. Place one piece of toast and cheese on each serving plate. Put a tenderloin on top of each "sandwich." Serve hot.
