4 dozen pickling cucumbers
1 bunch fresh dill
1 qt. apple cider vinegar
8 c. water
1 c. pickling salt
12 to 16 garlic cloves, peeled

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers and remove any stems. Slice and cover with water and refrigerate overnight or for several hours. Pack cucumbers into jars as tightly as possible. Poke 2 sprigs of dill per jar. Bring water, vinegar, salt and garlic cloves to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Fish out the garlic cloves and put one in each jar. Pour the hot brine into the jars and seal. Makes 12 pints.
