1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs. After sifting flour, add baking soda and salt. Add flour a little at a time. Batter will be stiff. Add pecans. Roll dough into shape of a log. Wrap with waxed paper and freeze. Take from freezer and slice onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 15-20 min. Watch to avoid overcooking. Good treat for unexpected company.
