6 c. boiling water
6 c. ice water
green beans
1 T. olive oil
1 T. butter
1 garlic clove
1/8 c. sherry wine
chopped onion
sea salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 6 cups of salted water to a boil and cook green beans for 5 minutes. Transfer to ice water until you are prepared to sautee them. Pour olive oil into skillet and begin to heat. Put 1 tablespoon of butter in skillet and wait until melted before adding drained green beans. Add crushed garlic and onion. Cook for 3 minutes. Pour in sherry wine and allow all to simmer for 2 more minutes. Season to taste with sea salt and pepper and enjoy!

I actually prefer the green beans a little more cooked so added about 3-4 minutes on to the cooking time.
