1 lb. hamburger
1/3 c chopped onions
1 large can dark red kidney beans
or 2 16 oz small cans
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/3 c catsup
Small hot peppers, if desired
Seasoning: salt, pepper, garlic, to suit your taste

Topping:
1 8.5 oz Jiffy Corn Muffin mix
Mix according to directions

Brown hamburger & chopped onions
in large skillet
Add tomato sauce,catsup & peppers,stir well
Bring to boiling point

Place mixture into a large round glass baking bowl
Then pour & spread corn muffin batter over entire top of bean/hamburger ingredients
Bake @ 400º for 20 minutes or until corn muffin layer is done.
