1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugars
Beat in egg and flavorings.
Combine dry ingredients and add slowly.
Chill about half hour before rolling out and cutting shapes.
Bake 350* 10 minutes
If you want to sprinkle with colored sugar, put it on dough before baking.
Otherwise frost with cream cheese frosting, or frosting of your choice.
