14 c. flour
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. Crisco
1 cake yeast
1 c. sugar
1 qt. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1 Tbsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, beaten eggs, Crisco, the cake of yeast, sugar and scalded milk. Let cool to lukewarm, add the butter and salt. make this mixture like bread dough. Put into an angel food cake pan to make a nice loaf.

Bake at 350º for 1 hour.

Mom made this Easter bread for us as we became too old for Easter baskets and she wanted to celebrate Easter as her parents and friends had been doing, probably getting the recipe from them.
