1 lb. pkg. ziti or other small pasta
1 1/2 c. diced Mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. chopped fresh basil leaves
1 pt. grape tomatoes, halved or cut in quarters
1 can marinated artichoke hearts (drained and cut in half)
1 small can (2.25 oz) can sliced black olives (drained)
3/4 c. bottled Italian salad dressing
1/4 tsp. black pepper; and salt to taste
Parmesan cheese and fresh basil for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, cook pasta according to directions on the package. When it reaches the al dente stage, remove from heat and drain in a large colander.

While pasta is cooking, prepare and measure the remaining ingredients and set aside.

When pasta is thoroughly drained, put all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix until everything is well mixed. Cover bowl and chill until serving time.

Just before serving, taste and adjust seasonings: salt, pepper, salad dressing as needed. Sprinkle top of salad with freshly grated Parmesan and snipped basil leaves for garnish.
