Pastry for 27 3" or 48 2" tarts

1 cup raisins
1/2 cup (1/4 pound) butter
1 cup yellow or brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs lightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 F

In a heavy saucepan combine raisins, butter, sugar, syrup and salt. Set over low heat until butter is melted and mixture is warm. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and eggs and stir. Spoon the filling into pastry lined tart tins, filling about 7/8 full. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 F and continue baking about 5 minutes or until pastry is golden.
