3 c. brown sugar
2 c. shortening or butter
1 1/2 t. soda
1/2 c. boiling water
4 eggs
3 T. cocoa
3 t. cinnamon
4 c. flour
4 c. oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar and shortening. Dissolve soda in boiling water and add to sugar and shortening. Blend in eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 minutes.
