2 c. sour milk (or add a little vinegar to the milk)
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
2c. flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1 1/2 t. soda
1 t. salt

Directions:
Mix flour and dry ingredients. In a separate bowl mix sour milk and soda well. Add eggs and mix with dry ingredients. Ladle into a well oiled frying pan and brown.

This is Mama's recipe. She recreated the pancakes she always loved of her mother's which had lots of eggs and a little more sugar than other recipes. This recipe is a great way to use the milk that has gone sour. The pancakes are very moist and can be eaten easily without syrup. This recipe also makes delicious waffles.
