3 c. brown sugar
2 3ggs
4 or 5 c. of flour
1 c. sweet milk
1 c. spray or crisco
3 tsp. cream of tartar
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
cook raisins 10 to 15 min. in water add lemon and sugar to taste. thicken with cornstarch.
cream sugar, eggs, crisco, vanilla, salt mix.
add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, milk and mix til' a ball.
flour and ball and cut out a circle for the bottom and top. you can use a glass or cookie cutter.
put cookie down on cookie sheet. put a spoon of thickened raisins than put a circle dough on the top. pinch edges so raisins don't run out.
you can poke a hole on top to keep thickened raisins running out. bake at 400º for 10 to 12 min.
