2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. nuts
2 t. soda
1 c. dates, cut up
Directions:
Directions:
Cream brown sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla and mix. Add the remaining ingredients. Roll into balls and press slightly. Bake at 350º for 10 to 12 minutes.
