Ingredients:  
1 c. flour
1 c. water
1/4 c. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
food coloring as desired
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together except for the food
coloring. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly
until the mixture forms a ball. Knead the ball on a floured surface until soft and smooth. Add food
coloring until the desired shade is reached. Allow
to cool completely before storing in an airtight
container. The play dough keeps indefinitely in the
refrigerator.
