3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 T. milk
2 1/2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

Vanilla Frosting: add 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cherry: 1 T. cherry juice, 1 T. chopped cherries.

Lemon: in place of milk, add 1 tsp. lemon juice and 1 tsp. grated lemon rind

Orange: in place of milk, add 1 tsp. orange juice and 1/2 tsp. of grated orange rind

Cinnamon: Use basic recipe and add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Great for cup cakes or frosted cookies.

Chocolate: to basic recipe, add 1 square of unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled, and 1 tsp. of vanilla and a dash of salt.

Peppermint Stick: Add 1 T. of crushed peppermint candy to basic recipe. Kids love this.

Basic Recipe: Blend the cream cheese and milk. Add the sugar gradually, blending it well.
