3 c. white flour
2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1 c. oil
2 tbsp. lemon juice
4 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. raisins (if desired)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk the dry ingredients together and then add the wet ingredients, apples, nuts, and raisins. Mix well. The batter will be thick.
Spray a bundt pan and press gently press the batter into it.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Let sit for
ten minutes and then turn upside down on a
plate. Dribble an icing glaze made of butter, lemon juice, and powdered sugar over the cake, if
desired.

This has been a favorite at church functions
because it is always a very moist cake. Rhubarb,
instead of apples, work wonderfully in this cake,
