"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Mix together sugar, oil, eggs and lemon juice. In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to the sugar mixture and fold in apples.
Grease VERY WELL a bundt pan. Pour batter in the pan (it will be thick). Bake at 350º for 50 minutes or as long as 1 hour until toothpick in center comes out clean.
While the cake is baking mix up the ingredients for the topping. Let cake sit for 5 minutes after it is finished baking. Placing a plate on top of the pan, carefully flip pan over releasing the cake onto the plate. Tip: Run a knife all around edge of pan and around center before taking cake out of pan. Pour topping over the top of the cake.
