"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
3 cups milk
1 stick butter
1 can regular biscuits
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the chicken until the meat falls from the bone. Remove chicken from the pan and set to the side to cool. Put the stick of butter in the chicken broth, salt and pepper to taste, and add the 3 cups of milk.
Heat the broth, being careful not to scorch the milk.
Open the can of biscuits and cut each circle into fourths dropping them carefully into the heated broth. These will expand greatly, after they have finished expanding stir and continue to simmer until they are the original size (this means they are done). Don't over stir this will make the dumplings fall apart.
Take the cooled chicken and pick all the meat from the bone and return to the broth and dumpling mixture- stir slightly, over stirring will make the chicken mushy.
Serve with homemade cornbread and you have a complete meal.
