2 (1 lb.) bags of Frozen crinkle cut Carrots
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 T. cornstarch
2 T. water
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
3 T. orange juice (or lemon juice)

Directions:
Cook carrots as directed on package. Drain well.

Meanwhile, in large skillet, combine sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in 2 Tbsp. water to make a smooth mixture. Add butter, nutmeg and juice. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 mins, stirring constantly. Mixture will be thick and translucent. Add carrots mixing to glaze them. Cook, uncovered, for 5 mins, turning gently so they become glazed on all sides.

This has become our traditional Holiday dish. The grandchildren give this two thumbs up and this is their favorite recipe.

Can be made the day ahead and reheated in Microwave. Tastes just as good.
