1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder

Directions:
Cream the butter, add the sugar gradually and then the egg. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to first mixture alternately with the milk. Bake in hot buttered muffin pans at 375º.
