3 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1-2 T. milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix powdered sugar and butter in a medium bowl with a spoon or electrical mixer on low speed. Stir in the vanilla and 1 T. of milk. Gradually beat in enough remaining milk to make the frosting smooth and spreadable. If frosting is too thick, beat in more milk a few drops at a time. If too thin, beat in a small amount of powdered sugar.
2. Frost cookies with white frosting or add a tint of food coloring to get desired color.
