3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 c. lard
1 egg, beaten
5 T. water
1 T. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients and lard with pastry cutter until crumbs are the size of peas. Mix in a separate bowl the egg, water and vinegar. Work into the pastry. Divide into 6 balls. Freeze or roll out for crust.

I always used this recipe to make my apple pies. For the apple pie filling I just mixed sugar and cinnamon with the apples.
