1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of uncooked rice
4 large loin pork chops, 3/4" thick
salt, pepper, and flour
2 tbsp.cooking oil
3/4 cup chopped each celery and onion
2 large cloves garlic
2 tbsp water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine onion soup mix and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add rice, stirring once; cover and cook over medium-low for 20 minutes.
While rice is cooking, season pork chops with salt and pepper and dust with flour. Brown in hot oil in a large skillet, remove and set aside. Add celery, onion and garlic to skillet. Cook and stir for 1 minute, Add water and deglaze pan by scraping o loosen browned bites of pork chops.
Put cooked rice in a 2 quart baking dish. Place browned pork chops on top of the rice, cover with foil and bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
