1 c. chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 (16-oz) can tomatoes - cut up
1 (6-oz) can tomato paste
2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, cook onion and garlic in oil until onion is tender. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, and salt. Bring to a boil then reduce heat. Boil gently uncovered for 20-30 minutes or until desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
