1/2 cup Butter
1 tsp Soda
1 Egg Unbeaten
1 tsp Salt
1 cup Buttermilk
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter until creamy. Blend in sugar, add egg, beat until light and fluffy. Stir the
baking soda into buttermilk, add alternately with the flour into the sugar and butter
mix. Add vanilla, beat batter until well blended. Bake in 9 in round cake pans. When
done while hot, cover with sliced bananas, sprinkle with sugar and stack each layer
