2 pie crust layers
2 cans of tart red cherries and water
1 1/2 C sugar
3 T instant tapioca
1/4 t almond extract
slices of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Drain cherries and put in bowl. Add sugar, tapioca, and almond extract. Mix together. Pour mixture into bottom layer of pie crust. Cut the other crust in strips and create a lattice effect over pie. In holes of lattice, put slices of butter. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
