1-2 lbs beef-sirloin or round steak
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 can mushroom soup
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 2 tbsp butter in heavy skillet or dutch oven. Saute' onions. Cut beef into 1/4 inch width by 4 inches long strips; add salt and pepper to taste and combine with onions. Brown beef. Set aside. Combine in saucepan: Cream of Mushroom soup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 3 minutes.
Combine mushroom mixture with beef mixture and cook covered on low for 10 minutes. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
