1 stick butter
1 lb powder sugar
1 lb (16-18oz) super chunky peanut butter
31/2 c. rice crispies

CHOCOLATE MIXTURE
1 large (8 oz) Hershey Bar
12 oz milk chocolate chips
2 1/2 Tbsp of shortening or 1/2 bar of parafon wax

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, powder sugar, and peanut butter by hand. Fold in rice crispies. Form into small balls (about half size of golf balls).
Melt chocolate bar, choc chips, and shortening/wax in double boiler.
Drop balls into chocolate mixture and cool on lined cookie sheet of wax paper. (freeze well).

This recipe came from my Uncle Fred's Mom. We all loved 'Nanny's" peanut butter balls! She would freeze them and then mail them to us since she lived in Cali.
