3 Frozen 100% pure beef 80/20 patties
salt & pepper
milk
1 egg, beaten (optional)
flour
Crisco

With sharp butcher knife or cleaver cut each frozen patty into 4 pieces, Salt and pepper. Dip in milk (or milk and beaten egg) then flour then repeat process. Fry in melted hot Crisco until brown on each side. Place on absorbent paper. Sprinkle with salt, if desired.

Serve with Texas Toast, cream or brown gravy and mashed potatoes or french fries and ketchup. Makes 12 steak fingers. This is how the Dairy Queen used to make their steak fingers. They would be made up ahead and placed in the freezer until ordered and then deep fried.
