Directions:
The cabbage is found in a swamp cabbage palm that is found in the woods. If you cut the palm you want to cut the heart of the cabbage (the center part near the top) and only the white part of the cabbage. To fry: In a pan sautee some bacon pieces until almost a brown color. Cut up the cabbage in pieces and add to the bacon. Also cut up some onions in pieces and add them to the pan. Sautee all the ingrediants until the cabbage is crispy. You can add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add your own seasonings to the pan. To boil: sautee some bacon pieces and cut up onions in a frying pan. Cut up the cabbage into pieces and add to a pot filled with water. Let the cabbage cook and mix in the cooked bacon and onions. Place a cover over the pot and let cook on meduim high heat. Add some salt and pepper to taste. When the cabbage is almost at a crispy taste add a chunk of butter and half cup of milk. Mix together and let all the ingrediants cook until cripsy. Once the cabbage is cripsy take it off the burner and serve.
