2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp.salt
3 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Beat together the first three ingredients. Set aside. Sift together the next four ingredients. Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Add the apples and nuts and stir to mix. Pour into a lightly oiled tube pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
For the topping, mix 1/4 c. milk, 1 stick margarine or butter and 1 c. brown sugar. Heat mixture for 2 1/2 minutes and pour over the hot cake.
