1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. celery, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 qt. half and half
3 T. cornstarch
2 T. minced onion
1 1/2 c. diced carrots
2 (6 oz.) cans clams with juice
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1/3 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' vegetables in butter until tender. Add clams, salt, pepper, half and half and milk. Heat slowly until almost boiling. Mix the cornstarch and water. Add to the hot soup and stir slowly until thickened.
