2 lbs lean chopped meat
2/3 cup whole wheat matzoh meal
3 eggs or equivalent of egg whites
garlic powder
onion powder
dried minced onion

sauce
2 28 oz can of tomato sauce
1 whole onion peeled
1/4 cup of reconstituted lemon juice
3/4 cup splenda

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients for sauce in a large pot and bring to boil.
While the sauce is cooking, combine all ingredients for meatballs mixing thoroughly without overmixing. Form meatballs ( I use a small ice cream scoop) and put them in sauce keeping at a simmer and partially covered. Cook for 1 1/2 - 2 hours and serve over brown rice or whole wheat pasta. Leftovers can be frozen. Just add some more sauce when reheating.
