1lb lean ground beef
2 jars Heinz chili sauce
1 large jar grape jam
1 egg
1 tsp.black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder

Directions:
Directions:
in a 6qt pot combine the chilli sauce and jam. warm over a low flame mixing occasionally till smooth.
meanwhile in a large bowl combine meat, spices and egg, mix togerther well. form small 1inch balls. gently drop into pot of sauce. when all the balls are made cover pot and adjust flame so that it simmers for 1 hour. stir occasionally. serve wirh rice or couscous.
