1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
21/4 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
for the swirl: 2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon mix
for the crumbs: 1 cup flour,1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon, 4 tbl oil mix to form crumbs.
or, mix 1 cup confection sugar, 1/2 tsp cinn, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and a few tbs water 4-6 to make a glaze.

pre heat oven to 350º. spray a 9x13 pan or bundt pan well. set aside

mix all the ingredients together well using an electric mixer medium speed. scrape down sides of bowl and mix on low. pour the batter into prepared pan. sprinkle the cinnamon swirl mixture on top and using a knife or spoon swirl thru the batter. add crumbs to the top. bake for 40 min or until center is done. let cool.

this is a very versitle cake batter. you can omitt the cinnamon and add fruit, or layer with fruit or choc chips.
