1 large bag hash brown potatoes, cubed
¾ cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ cup onions, diced
1 pint sour cream
10 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Topping:
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1/8 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Put potatoes in casserole dish or 9 x 13 pan. Pour butter over; add salt, pepper and onion. Mix sour cream and soup in a separate bowl, pour over potatoes, and mix well, top with cheese and cover with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes covered, and then 15 minutes uncovered.
