In the 1940s my older brother decided to build a boat when the flood water came up in our backyard. We got 2 wide boards 6 or 7 feet long and nailed them together. We drug our boat to the edge of the water, stood it on its end, dropped it in, and it sunk. Sank or sink, but that sucker sunk.

Later years my oldest brother thought he would be an animal doctor. I think his first patient was a duck, but the duck called him a quack! He turned out to be a preacher.
