My most memorable Christmas occurred when I was small. We were leaving my Granny and Granddaddy's home late on Christmas Eve when we saw a beautiful Santa walking up the sidewalk with a bag of toys. He gave my little brother Bobby and me a paint-by-the-number set.
We were so excited.
We stopped at our next door neighbor's house. Bertha had already gone to bed, and Santa had already been there and left her a bicycle. her parent wouldn't let me wake her up, so we hurried home to see if Santa had been there. Not yet.
